CADA/BC created the Fees and Rates Standards in 2009 as a way to facilitate the negotiation of fair and equitable contracts between engagers and artists.

After being in use for two years, we want to check in with our Members about the document. Please note that the use of the word professional is related to the definition of a professional artist as described by the Canadian Artist Code here.
We are requesting Members fill out a survey, helping us collect data on the living experiences of our community in terms of the Fees and Rates Standards that we have set. The survey is now closed.
There is also a survey for those of you who have engaged dancers. The survey is now closed.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to completed and can be answered anonymously. Please skip the sections that are not applicable to you. For example if you have never been paid for choreographic work, just skip those sections. We are also happy to fill out the survey with you if you want some assistance.
Please complete the survey by Tuesday, March 15. Each completed survey will be entered in to to win one of: Vancouver Art Gallery Individual membership, two tickets to Co. ERASGA’s EXpose (April 14-16) or a surprise prize. Please note prizes are only available to CADA/BC Professional and Pre-Professional Members in good standing.
